Ready To Sell? Offers On Your Property

Your home looks amazing. You’ve worked hard, and so has your agent. Your agent has been communicating with you regularly, updating you on inspection feedback and interested parties. If the buyers are seeing value in your property at the pricer asked, you will have offers to consider in the first one to two weeks of being on the market. Your home is fresh and desirable during this time, and in almost all cases the offers received in the first two weeks are the best the market has to offer. This is where your agents negotiations skill comes in to play, qualifying each buyer and maximising each offer.

Make sure you keep an open dialogue with your agent regarding your price expectation. If offers reach an acceptable level you will need to be decisive. Most buyers are selling their own home and need to buy on a time frame, therefore they can sometimes be unwilling to wait for an extended period to know if they have secured a home.
