Who Said The Auction Process Doesn’t Work In Northern Suburbs

By Michael Walkden

In Adelaide, the general consensus is that the Auction process doesn’t work in the northern suburbs.

2 Hookes Ct Paralowie proved this consensus wrong,

The Auction was due to be called this coming weekend 1st April 2017 at 10am on site with marketing agents Laurie Berlingeri and Michael Walkden, however, the Auction process unearthed a number of buyers whom were unconditional and prepared to make offers prior to the Auction in order to secure the home.

As the offer was accepted prior to the Auction is still attracted the conditions of an Auction and the purchaser;

  • was required to waive their cooling off rights
  • pay a deposit immediately; plus
  • sign an unconditional contract (meaning no conditions such as subject to finance or building inspection are included)

Overall a fantastic result for the owner with a happy purchaser looking forward to moving into their new home.

Congratulations to the purchaser and vendor!
