The COVID-19 outbreak has placed a great deal of uncertainty and stress in the lives of many Australians.
We at Ray White West Torrens stand ready to assist as best we can and are committed to ensuring we get through this period together.
We are truly sorry to hear that you have been impacted by this pandemic, we are human too and recognise the struggles faced by all of us through these difficult times. Many of us have been affected by Coronavirus in one way or another – including our own landlords, so we are here to help and support all of our stakeholders and are committed to working through this period in a bipartisan manner.
In conjunction with temporary legislative measures expected to remain for the duration of the declared period, Government, finance and industry bodies still encourage both landlords and tenants to open dialogue and negotiate fair and temporary arrangements for those tenants who have been impacted by the pandemic.Tenants who are impacted by the outbreak but still have the ability to pay rent are still obligated to do so. If an alternative arrangement is required, tenants and landlords are encouraged to work with each other on an agreement – where an agreement cannot be reached – the matter may need to be escalated to the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
