According to The Messengers author Cathryn McLauchlan two areas of Torrensville and Underdale may be potentially rezoned for medium density living and will be open for community consultation this week.
Medium density housing in the Torrensville and Underdale zones will include dwelling types such as single and two storey homes, however, in a “community centre” three storey dwellings may be permitted for development.
Based on the article written by McLauchlan it indicates that the “medium density housing in the urban renewal zone” could feature “…35 to 65 dwellings per hectare [and have] a minimum frontage of 5m”
We believe that this will significantly boost values of the immediate and surrounding homes.
